Despite persistent rain, over 70 people hit the streets on Saturday afternoon for our launch rally at the Montgomery County Courthouse in Norristown! Thank you to all of our volunteers, partner organizations, and supporters!
Speakers included state Representatives Greg Scott and Izzy Smith-Wade-El; Norristown Councilwoman Lauren Hughes; Director of the Eviction Lab, Carl Gershenson; and Montco 30 Percent Project co-directors Mike Hays and Debbie Brown. Pastor Dwayne Mosier of Ascension UCC offered an inspiring invocation.
